في إحدى الأحياء الشعبية بـ(مصر القديمة)، يعيش الساحر (منصور بهجت) (محمود عبدالعزيز) مع ابنته (نور) (منة شلبي) التي تحب (حمودة) (سري النجار)، حتى تقتحم حياته سيدة مطلقة تدعى شوقية (سلوى خطاب)، جاءت مع ابنها لتسكن في المنزل بعد زواج زوجها السابق من أخرى، ويخاف علي ابنته منها في البداية، ويصطدم (منصور) بها عدة مرات، حتى يشعر بها قلبه الساكن منذ وفاة زوجته، فيقع في هواها، ويقرر مساعدتها، ومساعدة ابنها المصاب بورم في المخ.
