بچه های خیابونی اکثرشون ۲۰ سالگی رو نمیبینن. اونایی هم‌که ببینن نمیتونن بگن چی کشیدن. مواد مخدر، خشونت، تجاوز جنسی، گرسنگی… سرنوشت بچه های خیابونی یا زندون یا قبرستونه. ۵ تا از این بچه ها موفق میشن در برابر این تقدیر بایستن. همونایی که خودشون رو “بی ریشه ها” خطاب میکنن. بزرگترینشون ۱۳ و کوچکترینشون ۶ سالشه. یکیشون دختره یکیشون اوتیسمیه. این داستان ۵ بچه خیابونیه که یه نوزاد چهل روزه رو توی زباله ها پیدا میکنن و چگونگی تبدیلشون از “بی ریشه ها ” به “پرندگان آتش” هست. پرندگان آتشی که علیرغم تمام سختی ها و درد ها و هر چیز دیگه ای در برابر تقدیر می ایستن Most street children do not reach the age of twenty.
